My brother, Glynn and I grew up in the rural part of Northern Virginia. Blessed with the resources around us, we spent most of our time on Glynn-Tarra Farm, which was owned by our grandparents and named after us. There, we learned about work ethic, values and respect. We had a great life together with many treasured memories. Gifted, handsome, creative, smart…that was Glynn. After high school he graduated from Virginia Tech, a true Hokie. Life’s path took him in several directions. He worked for the Virginia Department of Agriculture, and then he became a high school teacher, florist owner, was a Chamber of Commerce VP and an AIDS educator. Glynn loved to travel, help people and everyone he met was a friend. Glynn always encouraged me to follow my dream, love whatever I do, and treat my work as a passion. Most important be kind to everyone. We lost Glynn to AIDS, December 13, 1995. Rumored Creations is dedicated in loving memory of J. Glynn Moreland….forever loved and always in our hearts. |
